Cleveland Golf used artificial intelligence software to redesign the two new Launcher XL 2 drivers resulting in added forgiveness and more energy delivered at impact.

The Launch XL 2 has the highest MOI of any Cleveland driver and according to their testing against the Launcher XL from 2022 there is a 2% increase in MOI heel to toe and 12% high to low on the face. Part of the improvement comes from the Rebound Frame design which gives two flex zones on the head rather than one as most drivers.
Dustin Brekke, Director of Engineering said in the announcement, “Using a multi-step AI process and emphasizing impact locations in areas where avid golfers tend to strike the ball, we were able to evaluate performance characteristics and manipulate face geometries based on those results. With the MainFrame XL Face design golfers will see more powerful ball speeds, distance, and consistency no matter where contact is made.”
Cleveland also has a Launcher XL 2 custom Accuracy Build with a shaft that’s a one-half inch shorter shaft for those wanting needing help making consistent impact.
