PGA Tour 2026 Winners Bags

By ED TRAVIS

It’s been quite a year on the PGA Tour with a major competitor calling it quits, the new CEO soon to be commissioner restructuring of the schedule into two distinct halves, and Scotty Scheffler continuing to dominant.

LIV Golf lost its funding and some of their top players while Tour CEO Brain Rolapp used his experience with the NFL to put a new focus on the top 120 players who, in 2028 will be competing against each other with a Championship Series of 23 events.

One of the less important facts that we track all season and have for over 10 years is the brands used by Tour winners. This is not an earth-shattering stat simply one that caught our interest and certainly does not affect the choice of clubs in our bag. I like to think of these numbers as a great way to settle a nineteenth hole wager.

Everyone asks about driver usage and as is usual Titleist leads with 14 wins, TaylorMade had 11, Ping 6 and Callaway 3 followed by Srixon 2 and Cobra 1.

Irons didn’t hold any surprises with Bridgestone 3 wins, Callaway 2, Cobra 1, Miura 1, Mizuno 1, Ping 6, Srixon 3, Titleist 13, and TaylorMade 8.

Winning putters: Bettinardi 3, LAB 1, Odyssey 6, Ping 6, Scotty Cameron 9, TaylorMade 13

As for golf balls, any fan knows that Titleist is the most played brand on Tour and consequently has the most wins with 25 then came Bridgestone at 4, Callaway 2, Srixon 3, and TaylorMade 4.

For completeness Titleist is the most played driver and has been for the past six seasons while Odyssey is the most used putter brand on the PGA Tour, while the TaylorMade Spider Tour X is the single most-played individual putter model.
