Once a rarity, laser rangefinders have become a common on-course aid for golfers of all skill levels and Cobalt has stepped up with a new feature for the Q-Z6 namely optical zoom from 6x to 12x.
While 6x works for normal situations, when your shot requires carry from an odd angle or over trees to a back pin guarded by a high-lip bunker…well, you get the idea. It is very handy to be able to precisely measure the carry distances to give you the best chance of hitting the shot required.
