SCORES: European Ryder Cup team stages historic comeback to beat U.S.

Trailing by a score of 10-6 heading into Sunday’s singles competition, the European Ryder Cup team won eight of 12 matches to complete one of the greatest comebacks in the event’s history and beat the United States team 14.5-13.5 at Medinah Country Club in Illinois.

Dustin Johnson (U.S.; 3-0-0) defeated Nicolas Colsaerts (Europe; 1-3-0), 3 and 2

Zach Johnson (U.S.; 3-1-0) defeated Graeme McDowell (Europe; 1-3-0), 2 and 1
