Todd Keefer of Las Posas Country Club in Camarillo was honored as Southern California PGA Golf Professional of the Year at the SCPGA’s 99th Annual Meeting at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage.
The award was presented to Keefer for overall performance as a golf professional and for leadership, service and promotion of the game of golf, according to the SCPGA. Also considered is the overall performance at his facility, the level of service to the Southern California Section and the SCPGA, as well as his image as a golf pro.
“Our section will continue to support the participation of all children in the game of the golf through their formative years and into their adult lives,” Keefer said several years ago. “We believe we can grow the game and business by extolling the value of family participation and by marketing the value of the game and sport throughout California and the West.”
