The medium-priced ERC Soft has softer lower compression core than previously which combined with a softer Hybrid Cover helps produce a high launch low spin shot for added distance off the driver. The short game performance was improved with the addition of an urethane coating Callaway tags as GRIP to give more control.
The mantle is the product of applying artificial intelligence software to the design that gives better energy transfer between the cover and core for more ball speed and spin on wedge shots.
Supersoft as was it predecessor is a lower priced ball with a HyperElastic Soft Fast Core that Callaway says means “faster driver and iron speed with soft greenside feel.” It is offered in 10 color choices including three in white with “splatter” pattern colors.
