52nd Bob Hope Classic at Coachella Valley

It’s the only PGA TOUR event to welcome presidents, pitchers and pranksters inside the ropes. The 52nd Bob Hope Classic returns to its Coachella Valley home Jan. 17-23, once again mingling golf and celebrity under the sun. An event that has raised nearly $49 million for charity returns to the same four La Quinta courses from 2010: the Palmer Private and Nicklaus Private courses at PGA West, the La Quinta Country Club and the SilverRock Resort.
Bill Haas returns as defending champion. The son of 1988 BHC champion Jay Haas fired a final-round 64 to capture his first career PGA TOUR title. He joins a winner’s roll that includes Arnold Palmer (five times), Johnny Miller (two), Billy Casper (two), Phil Mickelson (two), Corey Pavin (two), Jack Nicklaus, Fred Couples, Peter Jacobsen, David Duval and Tom Kite.
