Srixon drew a lot of attention from attendees at the recent PGA Show with their new ZXi line of irons for good reason. They are great looking with the Srixon reputation of quality and performance built in.

The ZXi5 and ZXi4 Irons both use their MainFrame technology (the third generation) which is a design of grooves, channels and notches milled into the back of the head producing a variable thickness behind the face. Heads were impact or i-Forged a unique process Srixon uses.

Said Dustin Brekke, Director of Engineering, “The i-Forging process gave us the unique ability to select which steels would be best suited for each ZXi Iron, promoting a better hitting feel and overall performance. On the ZXi7 Players Iron, we used a softer steel in S15C. It’s the softest steel we’ve ever had in a forged Srixon Iron. Each new material upgrade serves a specific purpose to balance and strengthen each Iron and give players immediate feedback at contact.”
