Russell Knox came from three shots back during the final round to secure his second PGA TOUR win of the season at the Travelers Championship. The final-round 68 was capped off by a must-make 12-footer on the last that found the bottom of the cup.
“It was a weird putt to be honest because the hole was in a shadow from one of the grandstands about two feet short of the cup, so it was kind of tricky to see the break,” Knox said. “My caddie had been reading a few of my putts for me, and we probably hadn’t done a very good job. Right before I asked him what he was going to — what he thought, how much break, I told him, I got it, because I didn’t want to hear what he had to say in case it was slightly different from what I was thinking.”
Knox ranked 19th in strokes gained: putting for the tournament with a SeeMore Mini Giant FGP putter that went in play earlier this year at RBC Heritage.
Compared to the larger SeeMore Giant he’s used in the past, the current putter features the smallest head of SeeMore’s Giant series and has four sets of non-adjustable copper weight in the heel and toe that boost forgiveness.
Here’s a look at the rest of the equipment in Knox’s bag.
