Roger Dunn/Golf Mart Opening Some Southern California Stores

Worldwide Golf Shops which owns and operates Roger Dunn Golf Shops and Golf Mart, is doing its best to keep golfers equipped during the Coronavirus pandemic.

The only Worldwide shops currently open in California are Golf Marts at Del Mar Golf Center and Carlsbad Golf Center in San Diego County, where the three other San Diego stores remain closed.

In Orange County, the Roger Dunn Golf Shops in Mission Viejo, Seal Beach and Santa Ana all have curbside service only, while the other stores in the county are closed.

“For our curbside service you just call in and order the products you want, drive by and get helped by our employees, who all wear masks and gloves,” said Rick Levy, director of marketing for Worldwide Golf Shops. “They get what you ordered, drop it in your car and away you go.

“We have four Roger Dunn stores that are doing curbside service only. Our employees all are using caution for the safety of our customers and for themselves.”

The other Roger Dunn Golf Shop offering curbside service in Indio, but the remaining Roger Dunn shops in Riverside County remain closed.

All Roger Dunn Golf Shops in Los Angeles County, including the West L.A. superstore and another in North Hollywood are closed, along with the Roger Dunn further north up Highway 101 in Newbury Park, which is in Ventura County.

“The entire L.A. market is closed up and so are we,” said Levy, whose Worldwide company has golf stores across the United States. “We don’t know about projected openings and we’re just going by state guidelines and what the governors say.

“We are serving golfers’ needs where we can and hope to reopen other stores as soon as we can as things unfold.”
