PXG expands the 0311 Black Ops line with an ultra-lite driver a full 20g lighter head than the other members of the family, the 0311 Black Ops driver and 0311 Black Ops Tour-1.
Of course drivers are all about distance and for seniors and women a lighter club means they can generate more clubhead speed and therefore more distance. Ultra lights have the reputation that they are hard to control but that generally applies to higher swing speeds and not for slower swingers, i.e. those under 100 mph.
An interesting feature of the new driver is the nonuniform bulge and roll of the face which adjusts both the vertical and horizontal face curvature to improve ball speed when the impact is not exactly in the center.
