The Orange County Jr. Golf Championship is for junior golfers ages 9 to 18. The event features seven age divisions and will be hosted at seven different courses in OC, including Anaheim Hills, Aliso Creek Golf Course, Coyote Hills Golf Club, Strawberry Farms Golf Club, Tustin Ranch Golf Club, Monarch Beach Golf Links, and Black Gold Golf Club. There are two rounds of qualifying and a Championship round for qualifiers. Registration is open from Dec. 17-20. The net proceeds will benefit the OC Golf Coast Foundation. Oak Creek Golf Club in Irvine, California, in partnership with presenting sponsor Pure Focus, will stage a two-day college golf prep camp Dec. 27-28. The event will help junior golfers, along with their parents, insights into how to best prepare for a junior to continue their golf careers at the collegiate level. The objective of the camp is to provide participants and their families with an educated foundation of what it takes to accomplish the goal of playing college golf.
