Mizuno’s latest is a small headed iron with minimal offset and a groove back or channel design that we can easily call a muscle back. It is targeted for play by only the best golfers with the heads forged in Japan using the company’s Grain Flow process over an underlay of copper to improve feedback and reduce vibration.
The sole has less camber and a slightly sharper leading edge with added bounce to improve ball contact from a variety of lies and for smoother turf interaction.
