Saturday at Aviara Golf Club in Carlsbad, Calif., yielded two hole-in-ones as LPGA Tour players Laura Diaz and P.K. Kongkraphan aced the 89-yard 3rd hole at the Kia Classic. Two aces in one day is rare enough, let alone on the same hole.
On Sunday, Diaz returned the par-three 3rd hole, only to come away with a birdie. However, three holes later at the 133-yard sixth, Diaz made yet another hole-in-one — her second ace in as many days.
To make it even better, Diaz holed out for eagle from the fairway on the next hole, going four under in two holes.
Diaz shot 70 on Sunday, following up another 70 she shot Saturday with her first ace.
