Carr Wins Northern California PGA Pro-Pro Title by Three Strokes over Johnson

David Carr of Teal Bend Golf Club in Sacramento captured the Northern California PGA’s Senior Pro-Pro Championship by three strokes over Lance Johnson of Swenson Park Golf Club in Stockton at Corral de Tierra Country Club in Corral de Tierra. 

Carr collected three birdies on each nine to post a score of 2-under-par 70, while Johnson finished at 73. 

John Grund of Peacock Gap Golf Club in San Rafael shot 74 to tie for third with Todd Daniel of TPC Stonebrae in Hayward, while David Temple of Total Golf Adventures in Novato was fifth at 75. 

Bill Sendell of Tehama Golf Club in Carmel totaled 76 and tied for sixth with Christopher Borrego of First Tee of San Joaquin in Stockton, Gary Knapp of Almaden Golf and Country Club in San Jose, and Michael Cook of Pine Mountain Lake Country Club in Groveland. 

David DeLong of Boundry Oak Golf Course in Walnut Creek carded a score of 77 to tie for 10th with Scott Ferreira of Corral de Tierra Country Club, David Hall of Baylands Golf Links in Palo Alto, Dana Desarle of The Club at ArrowCreek in Reno, Nev., Bob Klein of Graeagle Meadows Golf Club, Rodney Wilson of Sunnyvale Golf Course and Matthew Dito of Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa. 

Frank Panetta of Cordevalle Golf Club in San Martin claimed the Super Senior title by capping his 76 with a birdie on the last hole, while Walter Bitticks of Tracy Golf and Country Club was second at 78, followed by Jerome Thormann of El Niguel Country Club in Laguna Nigel at 83.
