The Bruins, who won the Nanea Pac-12 Preview in their previous start and are led by first-year Coach Alicia Um Holmes, totaled 285-289-284—858, six-under par, to share the title with Southern Methodist, which wound up a 285-290-283—858.
Virginia was third at 294-289-288—871 while Pepperdine wound up at 291-287-298–876 to tie for third with Purdue, which totaled 293-293-290—876.
Texas Christian carded a score of 297-288-297—882 to tie for sixth with New Mexico, which finished at 292-294-296—882, while Houston wound up eighth at 298-293-304—895, followed by Minnesota at 299-293-305—897 and tournament host Nevada Las Vegas at 312-296-292—900.
Campos, a UCLA junior from Valencia, claimed her fourth college victory and second in a row with a score of 68-70-71—209, seven-under-par, while Jeneath Wong of Pepperdine shot 70-68-74—212 to tie for second with Rebecca Skoler of Virginia, who totaled 73-71-68–212, Lauren Lehigh of New Mexico, who wound up at 71-70-71—212, and Lois Lau of Texas Christian, who finished a 72-68-72—212.
Emily Odwin of Southern Methodist was sixth at 72-72-69—213, while Ashley Kozlowski of Purdue totaled 73-70-71–214 to tie for seventh with Ellie Szeryk of Southern Methodist, who finished at 70-73-71—214.
Alessia Nobilo of UCLA posted a score of 71-73-71—215 to tie for ninth with Mackenzie Lew of Southern Methodist, who wound up at 69-77-69—215, Myah McDonald of New Mexico, who finished at 72-72-71—215, and Anna Morgan of Furman, who came in at 73-69-73—215.
Rounding out the scoring for team co-champion UCLA were Kate Villegas in a tie for 14th at 73-73-72—218, Caroline Canales in a tie for 17th at 76-73-70—219, Tiffany Le in a tie for 21st at 73-75-73—221, and Natalie Vo in a tie for 31st at 74-74-76—224.
