Art of the Modern Drink: Winter Cocktails of the Farmers Market

Cocktail as Canvas, with a Modern Twist

The medium truly is the message as the Bay’s best bartenders re-envision modern works of art as drinkable masterpieces. Join CUESA and the San Francisco chapter of the United States Bartenders Guild (USBG) in a special cocktail collaboration with SFMOMA for a night of seasonal drinks and bites in anticipation of the museum’s re-opening in spring 2016.

Connect with art in an entirely new dimension as bartenders and chefs infuse the spirit of SFMOMA’s Piet Mondrians, David Flavins, and other iconic works into creative craft cocktails and haute bites, while using the flavor palette of the winter farmers market in all shades of citrus and leafy green.

Guests receive three full-sized signature cocktails, along with unlimited sample-size drinks and tickets for hors d’oeuvres in this walk-around tasting in the Ferry Building’s gorgeous Grand Hall. Stop by the photo station for your own rendition of The Modern Selfie, and vote for your favorite drink and bite to win prizes.

With your palate thoroughly refreshed, you’ll never look at a pomelo or a Picasso the same way again.
