Frederick Wedel of Pepperdine claimed the first victory of his college career in record-setting fashion, winning the Warrior Invitational by three shots at Makai Golf Club in Princeville, Hawaii.
Wedel, a junior from the Woodlands, Texas, posted a score of 64-63-69–196, setting 36- and 54-hole school records to close out the Fall season. He also tied Michael Putnam’s Pepperdine mark with his 63 in the second round.
