Therese Warner of Kennewick, Wash., sank a five-foot birdie putt to turn back Emily Lee of Torrance and Annabelle Mascot Agoura Hills and win the Girls Division in the Toyota Tour Cup event on the Southern California PGA’s Junior Tour at Tustin Ranch Golf Club in Tustin.
Lincoln Melcher of Burbank claimed the Boys Division title when his par on the first extra hole defeated Peter DiBernardo of Huntington Beach.
Melcher posted a score of 69-74—143, one-under-par, while DiBernardo finished at 72-71—143.
Tyler Hsieh of Chino Hills shot 69-75—144 to tie for third with Eric Lee of Fullerton, who finished at 70-74—144, while Jared Berlin of Los Angeles totaled 74-71—145 to tie for fifth with Kyle Sharp of Laguna Beach, who wound up at 71-74—145.
Eugene Moon of Rolling Hills carded a score of 76-70—146 to tie for seventh with Patrick Hong of Los Angeles (75-71—146), Brian Xu of San Diego (75-71—146), Andrew Ricci of La Canada (73-73—146), Aaron Yoo of Fullerton (72-74—146) and Joseph Chun of Irvine (71-75—146).
Warner recorded a score of 75-73—148, four-over-par, while Mascot finished at 72-76—148, and Lee wound up at 74-74—148.
Daisy Wan of Beverly Hills was fourth at 77-72—149, followed by WanJia Han of Walnut at 78-72—150, Gabriella Gonzalez of Thousand Oaks at 78-74—152, and Yurang Li of Fullerton at 78-75—153.
Lauren Cho of Long Beach shot 77-77—154 to tie for eighth with Chelsey Gutierrez of Brea, who finished at 76-78—154, while Kylee Choi of South Pasadena was 10th at 76-79—155.
