Tour Edge is making lots of changes not only in the new club offerings but there’s a new company logo and for the first time they are getting into the ball business. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Exotics line introduction while 2026 is the 40th year of the company.
Of note with the new driver designs is the Ridgeback interior titanium chassis that wraps around the crown and sole for more strength and to focus more swing energy at impact. The head has lots more carbon fiber than the previous models, 50-80% more, and this means weight shifted to the outside perimeter increasing the forgiveness of each model.
“We are extremely proud of these clean, visually appealing head shapes at address,” said Tour Edge CEO David Glod. “Combined with the visible and internal technologies engineered into this lineup, our tour player, amateur and robot testing all confirm that these metalwoods deliver outstanding results across a wide range of player types and handicaps. We’re eager to see how golfers benefit from the new Exotics Lite driver and fairway, which rank among the lightest options on the market.”
The Exotics LS with its smaller head is a true low spin design and still has the stability necessary and required by high swing speed players. Tour Edge says the Exotics Max driver is their most forgiving model ever produced and the resistance to twisting is higher than the 10,000 g/cm2 MOI threshold. The Lite model has an ultra-light head with significant offset and lots of heel weighting to increase speed and minimize slices for players with slower swing speeds. At 46” the standard Lite’s length is ½” longer than the LS and Max and comes with lightweight components so it can be swung faster to improve distance for women and seniors.
It is worth noting that the new models are priced $100 higher than Tour Edge’s comparable 2025 drivers but at least $100 less than top of the line competitor’s drivers.
