Scotty Cameron at last has an entry in the hottest putter category (at least for this year!) the zero torque category that seemingly everyone has got a model in.

They are quick to point out these two new OC models are low torque not zero torque though the difference may be one of definition the idea is still to keep the face perpendicular to the putting arc without the need to manipulate it during the stroke.

For some it will be an extension of the straight-back-straight-through idea and others an unusual feeling to which they will have to become accustom.

“In the last few years, we’ve seen a growing number of golfers who want to minimize the feel of face rotation in the stroke via putter setup,” said Austie Rollinson, Scotty Cameron’s Senior Director of Putter R&D. “And as a designer, what excites me most about OC is that it gives golfers options. We now have an entirely new configuration for golfers who want to feel a square, straight-back-and-through path.”
