Jason Schmuhl of Windsor turned back Zack King of Antioch on the second playoff hole to win the Northern California PGA Professional Championship at Sonoma Golf Club.
Schmuhl will lead six Northern California PGA pros into the 48th PGA Professional National Championship on June 21-24, 2015, at The Philadelphia Cricket Club.
King finished at 66-68–136, 8-under-par while Schmuhl came in at 66-70–136.
Michael Duncan of Pebble Beach shot 69-69–138 and tied for fifth with Stuart Smith of Reno, who wound up at 67-71–138.
David Carr of Marysville totaled 71-69–140 and tied for fifth with Steve Hummel of Reno, who came in at 69-71–140.
