Zero torque is the hottest putter design right now and PXG is adding a fourth model to the three regular length ZT putters with the Allan ZT Long Putter. Their core design feature for all the ZT family is locating the center of gravity in line with an below the shaft axis. This then keeps the face square with the putter head arc throughout the stroke.
The long shaft and heavy head PXG says creates a counterbalanced feel and helps to produce a shoulder-only stroke.
“With the PXG Allan ZT Long, we set out to create a long-length putter that gives golfers a calmer, more stable stroke without sacrificing precision,” said Matt Andrews, PXG Design Engineer. “By pairing Zero Torque technology with advanced construction and refined the CG placement, we engineered a putter that feels incredibly balanced and helps players roll it pure with confidence.”
