Newport Beach, Calif. — Nick Price tied the Champions Tour record when he opened with an 11-under par 60 in the Toshiba Classic, and he needed every one of those strokes. Price, the 54-year-old from Zimbabwe, wasn’t great but simply good enough the rest of the way and he held off Mark Weibe by one stroke to win for the fourth time in his career on the senior circuit at Newport Beach Country Club.
