The PXG Mustang ZT putter joins the other three models in their Zero Torque collection and is unique having a hollow-head polymer-filled construction. As with all zero torque putters, the object is a design that tends to stay perpendicular to the arc path during the swing rather than rotating from open to square to closed, as do most other types.

In the Mustang ZT this is accomplished with the S-shaped hosel placing the axis of the shaft over the putter head center of gravity. This configuration gives a toe-up balance point and minimal face rotation relative to the swing path and a slight forward press is built in to give an effective playing loft of 3°.

“With the Mustang ZT, we’re expanding the Zero Torque lineup to give golfers even more options that fit the way they play,” said PXG Founder and CEO Bob Parsons.

The slogan “Less Thinking More Sinking” also is catchy if that counts for anything.
