Long Beach State graduate and Orange County resident Paul Goydos became only the fourth person to card a 59 in tournament play on the PGA Tour today at the John Deere Classic event in Silvis Illinois.
Goydos signed for 4 birdies on the front nine and a blistering 8 birdies on the back for a tournament leading 12 under par on the par-71 layout.
