Margaret Loncki of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps repeated as individual champion and led the Athenas to their second straight Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title on the North Course at Los Serranos Country Club in Chino Hills.
Claremont-Mudd-Scripps claimed its fifth conference title with a score of 299-294-307—900, 36-over-par, while Chapman was second at 323-312- 318—953, followed by ittier at 327-313-315—955 and Cal Lutheran at 314-316- 326—956.
Pomona-Pitzer was fifth at 318-323-318—959, followed by Redlands at 333- 315-320—968 and Occidental at 339-332-347—1018.
Loncki, a senior from Paradise Valley, Ariz., posted a winning score of 69-77- 74—220, 4-over-par, while Caroline Ordian of Redlands was second at 76-73- 74—223, followed by Mira Yoo of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps at 77-75-74—226, Emily Lewis of Chapman at 76-75-76—227 and Emma Kang of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps at 76-74-80—230.
Kelly Ransom of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps totaled 77-75-79—231 to tie for sixth with her Athena teammate Emily Attiyeh, who finished at 80-70-81— 231, while Marissa McCardell of Cal Lutheran shot 79-75-79—233 to tie for eighth with Kajal Vitha of Whittier, who finished at 79-74-80—233, and Sophia Hui of Pomona-Pitzer, who came in at 79-78-76—233.
Allison Gaskill led Cal Lutheran in 16th at 82-77-81—240.
Rounding out the scoring for SCIAC champion Claremont-Mudd-Scripps were Taylor Hughes in 11th at 87-74-73—234, and Camille Simon in 18th at 85-76- 82—243.
