Liu posted a score of 70-74—144, even par to finish even with Lauren Gomez of San Diego, who also totaled 70-74—144 before losing in the playoff.
Veronica Joels of Las Vegas shot 75-71—146 to tie for third with Serena Serpesky of Temecula, who also was at 75-71—146, while Yoonju Shin of Irvine was fifth at 75-72—147, followed by Leigh Chien of Irvine at 74-74—148.
Michelle Wong of La Habra Heights carded a score of 73-77—150 to tie for seventh with Kamille Dimayuga of Buena Park, who wound up at 68-82—150, while Joyce Jin of Encinitas was ninth at 76-75—151.
Vanessa Wang of Rowland Heights shot 77-75—152 to tie for 10th with Madi Daniel of Bakersfield, who wound up at 73-79—152, and Morgan Goldstein of Las Vegas, who came in at 77-75—152.
Greene claimed the Boys Division with a score of 70-67—137 to win by two strokes over Edwin Kuang of Murrieta, who finished at 67-72—139, while Joseph Zambri of Camarillo shot 74-67—141 to tie for third with Tyler Guo of Irvine, who wound up at 73-68—141, Dylan Menante of Carlsbad, who totaled 73-68—141, and Connor Brown of Los Angeles, who ended up at 71-70—141.
Tyler Schafer of Long Beach carded a score of 74-68—142 to tie for seventh with Bo Jin of Encinitas, who totaled 72-70—142, while Matthew Gunson of Irvine shot 73-71—144 to tie for ninth with Guy Clauss of Newport Beach, who finished 70-74—144, Kyle Kinnane of Anaheim Hills, who wound up at 71-73—144, Tommy Stephenson of Carlsbad, who finished at 70-74—144, and Luke Potter of Encinitas, who came in at 71-73—144.
