Lee Captures Aramaco Title on LET by 8 Strokes Over Ciganda in Saudi Arabia

Alison Lee has won again on the Ladies European Tour.

Lee, from Valencia and UCLA, shot 7-under-par 65 and coasted to an eight-stroke victory over Carlota Ciganda of Spain in the Aramaco Team Series event Presented by PIF at Rihadh Greens Golf and Country Club in Makkah Province in Saudi Arabia.

“It’s surreal to think I played that well,” said Lee, who also won this event in 2001 in Sotogrande, Spain. “Shooting 11-under-par over the first two days, I’ve obviously never done that before in my career. I’m really happy to be here.

“I feel like for three days I played really confident golf. Coming off a really good week last week. That gave me a lot of confidence coming into this week. “I’m really happy with the composure I was able to keep throughout the round. I didn’t want to embarrass myself by losing a six-shot lead coming into today.
