Lee, Bushnell take 82nd Sacramento Jr. titles

Brian Lee of Rocklin won the Boys 16-18 Division and the overall title by two strokes over Thomas Patterson of Granite Bay and Jacob Westberg of Sacramento in the 82nd annual Sacramento City Junior Golf Championships on the Alister Mackenzie Course at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex.

Ellie Bushnell (pictured right) of Granite Bay, playing in the 12-14 Division, took home the Girls overall title.

Lee (pictured left) carded a score of 72-67—139, 5-under-par, while Patterson finished at 70-71—141 and Westberg wound up at 71-70—141.

Joe Sanguinetti of Hillsborough was fourth at 76-69—145, while Jason Carhart of Chico totaled 72-74—146 to tie for fifth with Drew Grego of Folsom, who finished at 74-72—146, and Jarrod Weldon of Madera, who came in at 76-70—146.

Jack Feliciano of Concord shot 70-77—147 to tie for eighth with Zarak Niazi of Elk Grove, who wound up at 77-70—147, and Keaton Sutherland of Sacramento, who wound up at 76-71—147.

Yena Jang of Roseville posted a score of 72-71—143 to tie for the Girls 15-18 title with Alexis Esguerra of Alameda, who shot 74-69—143.

Helen Ye of Redwood City was third at 76-72—148, followed by Hanna Montgomery of Roseville at 76-73—149, and Angela Bagasbas of Danville at 76-74—150.

Hailey Rietz of Rancho Cordova totaled 80-73—153 to tie for sixth with Courtney Cervillin of Elk Grove, who finished at 83-70—143, while Zoe Offield of Stockton was eighth at 74-81—155, followed by Ellie Sand of El Dorado Hills at 79-77—156 and Lauren Allen of Sacramento at 82-75—157.

Patrick Dumag of Sacramento won the Boys 14-15 Division at 71-73—144, while William Phelan of Rocklin totaled 72-73—145 to tie for second with Brady Siravo of Sacramento at 73-72—145, followed by Isaiah Kanno of Hawaii at 75-72—147 and C.J. Gassner Jr. of Lincoln at 75-74—149.

Bushnell took the Girls 12-14 Division and with a score of 73-69—142, followed by Haley Wong of El Dorado Hills at 72-77—149, Tess Fernandez of Rocklin at 76-81—157 and Nailah Ngaophasy of Roseville at 89-82—171.

Reese Sato of Folsom captured the Boys 12-13 Division at 71-68—139, followed by Andre Zhang of Davis at 72-76—158, Samuel Stagno of Merced at 86-76—162, Alvin Wong of Daly City at 86-77—163 and Daniel Kim of Rocklin at 81-84—165.

Landon Abalateo of Fair Oaks shot 73 to claim the Boys 10-11 Division, while Kailer Stone of Alameda totaled 78 to tie for second with Braden Cales of Roseville, and Simon Tache of Orangevale was fourth at 92, followed by Caleb Tache of Roseville at 108.

Mia Cho of Carmichael won the Girls 10-11 Division at 88.

Nick Sato of Folsom finished first in the Boys 7-9 Division at 80, followed by Reid Bulman of Folsom at 81 and Drue Sanchez of Oakley at 82.
