Tour Edge says the response to their Exotics urethane cover three-piece ball in Sept. last year for better players was very positive. Now they have expanded into the recreational player ball market with the Hot Launch brand named after their very popular line of clubs.
The Hot Launch is a low (55) compression and combined with the cut-resistant Surlyn cover it fits a good niche in the low end of the market enforced by the less than $20 price tag this ball should do very well.
“So many golfers benefit from our game-improvement technologies in Hot Launch clubs, so we’re excited to now offer a golf ball solution built on that same philosophy,” said David Glod, CEO and Founder of Tour Edge. “Just like the clubs, the Hot Launch golf ball is designed to help players hit it farther, launch it higher, and stay in play more often.”
Company player and robot testing has shown the matching of the low compression with the shallow dimple cover gives amateur golfers distance off the tee and control around the green.
