The Exotics brand has been around for 20 years and in 2025 Tour Edge has done a couple of interesting things including for the first time taking driver model protypes of the 725s out to the PGA Tour Champions. The seniors liked them and they quickly became 60% of all Tour Edge drivers being played.

The 725s also have the distinction of being less expensive than the 723 models of two years ago. The company has told me multiple times their goal is to provide the highest quality clubs using the latest materials and technology at competitive pricing with the recreational player in mind. For the new season would seem they continue to buck the trend being followed by other major club makers.

The C725 has improved on its low spin performance that fast swingers want and can be adjusted for +/- 300 RPMs of ball spin and the MOI by 11% by adjusting the two sole weights.

The big story though is the achievement of 10,000 g-cm2 MOI in the E725 making it one of the few drivers in that exclusive club. In 2006 the USGA placed a limit of 5,900 g-cm2 as the maximum resistance to twisting (modulus of inertia or MOI) a driver may have from heel to toe in an attempt to keep the game from being too easy. The less twisting of the head at impact the straighter the ball will go and especially for most of us who slice, higher MOI may significantly reduce the left to right curvature.

By improving the amount of resistance to twisting in the vertical plane, i.e., crown to sole, while maintaining a high heel-toe resistance a total MOI of the whole clubhead was pushed above 10,000 g-cm2 or the so-called 10k threshold.

“We’re getting into the 10K inertia market with a true performer in the E725 driver,” said Tour Edge founder,” CEO and chief designer David Glod. “You can’t place a value on a clubhead that provides extremely straight drives from anywhere on the face as it simply and efficiently creates lower scores for every golfer. Both the E and C heads are astoundingly forgiving.”

“Forgiveness has been something we’ve been excelling at in Exotics, at the very top of our industry, but this is an entirely new level,” said Glod. “With 725, we are offering two specs that fit exactly what a certain player type is seeking for their performance off the tee. It is definitively game-changing how the 725 drivers perform.”
