Sonoma State claimed its first victory since the Sonoma State Spring Invitational in April near the end of last season, posting a score of 298-312—610, 26-over-par, while host Western Washington was second at 304-314—618, followed by Concordia of Oregon at 313-306—619, British Columbia at 310-315—625, and Simon Fraser at 314-317—631.
Victoria of British Columbia was sixth at 317-323—640, followed by Holy Names of Oakland at 322-324—646, Dixie State at 325-325—650, Hawaii Pacific at 332-321—653, and Montana State-Billings at 331-327—658.
Daleo, a freshman from Plano, Texas, in her second tournament with the Seawolves, claimed the title with a score of 72-76—148, 2-over, while Virtusio, a senior from Antioch, was right behind at 74-75—149.
Lacy Sheldon of Western Washington posted a score of 72-80—152 to tie for third with Cammie Decker of Concordia, who finished at 80-72—152, Cecile Kwon of British Columbia, who wound up at 73-79—152, Nicole Gargarella of Victoria, who totaled 72-80—152, and Avril Li of British Columbia, who wound up at 74-78—152.
Kylie Jack of Simon Fraser shot 77-76—153 to tie for eighth with Kaley Saludares of Concordia, who finished at 75-78—153, while Gabriella Lewis of Sonoma State totaled 75-79—154 to tie for 10th with Mint Chimsuti of Hawaii Pacific, who finished at 79-75—154, Belinda Lin of Simon Fraser, who wound up at 77-77—154, and Brianna Esvelt of Western Washington, whom came in at 76-78—154.
Sophia Young led Holy Names with a tie for 20th at 76-83—159.
Rounding out the scoring for team champion Sonoma State were Cristina Picariello in a tie for 20th at 77-82—159, and Jasmine Monas in a tie for 34th at 81-82—163.
