Cal State Fullerton claimed its third title of the season with a score of 301-291-284—876, while UC Irvine was second at 288-298-298—884, followed by UC Davis at 295-296-295—886, UC Santa Barbara at 297-300-295—892 and Hawaii at 298-301-296—895.
The Titans captured their third Big West title and first since winning back-to-back in 2013 and 2014.
Long Beach State totaled 298-291-307—896 to tie for sixth with Cal State Northridge, which finished at 299-301-296—896, while UC Riverside was eighth at 308-298-302—908, followed by Cal Poly San Luis Obispo at 308-299-309—916.
Wilson, a senior from Cypress, claimed his first college victory and became the first Titan to win the conference title with a score of 75-68-68—211, 5-under, followed by Thomas Hutchison of UC Davis at 70-74-71—215, Zach Smith of UC Santa Barbara at 68-74-74—216 and Anthony Truong of UC Irvine at 71-76-71—218.
Hunter Epson of Long Beach State shot 77-70-72—219 to tie for fifth with Justin Arcano of Hawaii, who finished at 74-72-73—219, and Jesse Bratz of UC Davis, who finished at 72-74-73—219.
Jonathan Kang of UC Irvine posted a score of 68-77-75—220 to tie for eighth with Matt Lloyd of Hawaii, who finished at 69-77-74—220, while Derek Castillo of Cal State Fullerton shot 74-79-68—221 to tie for 10th with Matt Gunson of UC Irvine, who came in at 74-69-78—221.
Tomas Skajem led Cal State Northridge at 72-75-75—222 in a tie for 12th that included Thomas Lehman of Cal Poly SLO, who came in at 73-71-78—222, while Andrew Spilman of UC Riverside tied for 17th at 77-73-74—224.
Rounding out the scoring for team champion Cal State Fullerton were Dalton Daniel, who tied for 17th at 79-75-70—224, while Jack Dyer totaled 76-74-78—228 to wind up in a tie for 25th that included teammate Michael Sharkey, who finished at 76-74-78—228.
