Bolen & Mikals of Lahontan Golf Club Win 2016 NCPGA Cal State Club Championship

TRUCKEE, Calif. – The Northern California Section of the Professional Golfers’ Association is pleased to announce that the team of PGA Head Professional Scott Bolen of Lahontan Golf Club (Truckee, CA) and Jonas Mikals are the winners of the 2016 NCPGA California State Club Championship with a final score of 69-64-133 (-11). The victors defeated the team of PGA Head Professional Steve Pellegrine and Luke Oehlschlaeger of Sunnyside Country Club (Fresno, CA) by one in the second round and claimed the prize.

The 37th Annual NCPGA California State Club Championship pairs a PGA Club Professional and the facility’s 2015 Club Champion together against other teams. This two-day championship was held at Old Greenwood (Par 72) and the Golf Club at Gray’s Crossing (Par 72) in Truckee, California June 6-7, 2016.

The 2016 California State Club Championship is presented by National Car Rental, the Official Rental Car of The PGA of America & sponsor of the 2016 National Car Rental Pro-Am Series, and by Eldorado Hotel Casino Reno.
