Bettinardi has expanded their line of zero-torque putters with the new fang-mallet SB3 and the more conventional looking but small-headed SB5. Both have a hosel that connects the shaft over the center of gravity of the head and combined with the head weight distribution tend to keep the face square to the putting arc from start to finish.
This of course is the essence of the idea of the so-called zero-torque designs and Bettinardi has had success with their first two SB or Simply Balanced models the SB1 and SB2.
Sam Bettinardi, President of Bettinardi Golf said of the announcement, “With the Antidote line, we set out to take everything that makes a Bettinardi putter a Bettinardi — the heritage, craftsmanship, innovation, and unmistakable look and feel — and apply it to a completely new zero torque platform. The SB3 and SB5 build on that foundation, giving golfers more options to experience true stability while staying true to what defines our brand.”
