UC Santa Barbara was sixth at 293-284—861, followed by Sacramento State at 285-298-287—870, UC Irvine at 296-285-296—877, UC San Diego at 293-298-289—880 and Cal State Northridge at 302-288-295—885.
Cal Poly totaled 295-299-292—886 to tie for 11th with UC Riverside, which finished at 300-293-293—886.
Anupansuebsai, a junior from Thailand who won the Bayonet Black Horse Amateur Championship during the summer in Seaside, claimed his first college title with a score of 63-66-69—198, 18-under, to break the Aztec record of 17-under set by Xander Schauffele in the 2015 Barona Collegiate Cup.
Clay Feagler of Pepperdine shot 70-66-67—203 to tie for second with Leon D’Souza of USC, who finished at 69-66-68—203, and Trevor Lampson of Grand Canyon, who wound up at 65-69-69—203.
Leo Oyo of San Diego State was fifth at 70-68-68—206, while his Aztec teammate Zihao Jin totaled 72-63-72—207 to tie for sixth with Dylan Menante of Pepperdine, who finished at 66-69-72—207.
Harrison Kingsley of University of San Diego was eighth at 67-71-71—209, while Brett Bennett of UC Santa Barbara shot 68-74-68—210 to tie for ninth with Austin Murphy of Pepperdine, who wound up at 71-70-69—210, and Andy Hess of Utah State, who came in at 69-69-72—210.
Mason Greene of UCLA tied for 12th at 70-72-69—211, while Tyler Moore of UC Riverside totaled 75-70-67—212 to finish in a tie for 16th that included Hayden Hui of UC San Diego, who wound up at 74-70-68—212.
