Zhao, who won the Pasadena City Women’s Championship, the Bubba Conleee Tournament and the Jim Click AHL Automotive Properties Championship in 2022, captured the 52nd JoAnne Winter Silverbelle Championship by two strokes over Gracie McGovern of Scottsdale, Ariz., at Briarwood Country Club in Sun City West, Ariz.
After playing bogey-free for the first 36 holes, Zhao made three birdies on the front nine in the final round to pad her and lead recorded a score of 70-69-69—208, 8-under-par, to win by two strokes over Gracie McGovern of Scottsdale, Ariz., who eagled the eighth hole and finished at 73-71-66—210.
Zhang suffered her only bogey of the tournament on the 12th hole of the final round before righting the ship and reeling off five consecutive birdies and then closing out her victory in style with a birdie on the final hole.
Olivia Duan of Cupertino shot 72-73-69—214 to tie for third with Amber Li of Bellevue, Wash., who finished at 70-70-74—214, while Nikki Oh of Torrance totaled 73-72-70—215 to tie for fifth with Irene Kim of Woodstock, Md., who wound up at 75-70-70—215, and Luna Lu of Canada, who came in at 69-72-74—215.
Anna Song of Los Angeles recorded a score of 72-75-69—215, to tie for eighth with Kylie Chong of Torrance, who finished at 72-71-73—216, while Samantha Olson of Phoenix finished at 73-73-71—217 to tie for 10th with Veronica Joels of Las Vegas, who wound up at 73-73-71—217.

Gracie McGovern of Scottsdale, Ariz., took the 17-18 Division by shooting 73-71-66—210, followed by Amber Li of Bellevue, Wash., at 70-70-74—214, and Samantha Olson of Phoenix at 73-73-71—217, while Abra Richmond of Glendale shot 74-74-79—218 to tie for fourth with Andee Avery of Carlsbad, who finished at 74-72-72—218.
Olivia Duan of Cupertino won the 15-16 Division at 72-73-69—214, while Nikki Oh of Torrance shot 73-72-70—215 to tie for second with Irene Kim of Woodstock, Md., who finished at 75-70-70—215 and Luna Lu of Canada, who wound up at 69-72-74—215, while Anna Song of Los Angeles totaled 72-75-69—216 to tie for fifth with Kylie Chong of Torrance, who came in at 72-71—216.
