Texas captured the stroke play portion of the tournament with a score of 302-294-287—883, 7-under-par, followed by Duke at 305-281-304—890, USC at 306-289-298—893 and host Arkansas at 302-296-302—900.
Rounding out the top eight were Wake Forest at 309-299-294—902, Arizona at 304-294-306—904, Stanford at 304-300-302—906 and Auburn at 313-295-307—915.
San Jose State finished 19th at 324-302-312—938 and UCLA was 20th at 315-308-318—941.
In the quarterfinals of match play, Texas faces Auburn, Duke takes on Stanford, USC goes against Arizona and Arkansas meets Wake Forest.
Fassi took the individual title with a score of 72-71-68—211, 8-under, followed by Sierra Brooks of Florida at 75-67-73—215, Bianca Pagdanganan of Arizona at 69-74-74—217, Hailee Cooper of Texas at 80-69-69—218 and Amanda Hollandsworth of Virginia Tech at 75-72-72—219.
Albane Valenzuela of Stanford was sixth at 74-73-73—220, Amelia Garvey of USC shot 74-73-74—221 to tie for seventh with Jaravee Boonchant of Duke, who finished at 76-71-74—221, and Natasha Andrea Oon of San Jose State was ninth at 79-71-72—222.
Aline Krauter of Stanford totaled 74-76-73—223 to tie for 10th with Agathe Laisne of Texas (75-74-74—223), Gina Kim of Duke (78-70-75—223), Kaitlyn Papp of Texas (77-74-72—223), Frida Kinhult of Florida State (77-73-73—223), and Emilee Hoffman of Texas (72-79-72—223.
Patty Tavatanakit led UCLA in a tie for 43rd at 75-77-78—230.
