Tour Edge moves forward for the 2025 season with the familiar C (Competition) and E (Extreme) versions of the Exotics 725 irons but with a significant addition of the X725 super game-improvement model.
The C725 has a smaller shorter blade, a more pleasing topline at address better players like to see and overall is 10% smaller than its C723 precursor. The E725 improves the position of the center of gravity, lower and towards the rear, giving recreational players better initial trajectory and additional forgiveness with a higher resistance to twisting.
New to the lineup is the X725 which uses features from Tour Edge’s popular iron-woods. Like an iron-wood the face is shallow and the head has lots of offset with weighting that promotes right to left ball flight contrasting with the usual slice pattern of many slow to medium swing speed golfers.
“The X iron is a new concept for us,” said CEO and Chief Designer David Glod. “The thinking being, why not take our all-time best-selling iron-wood concept and make an ultra-premium Exotics version. It turned out even better than we expected. It’s the highest MOI iron we’ve ever produced, and the easiest to hit Exotics iron ever made. It’s going to help a lot of golfers drastically lower scores.”
