Tiger Woods, who said he was getting closer to returning to the PGA Tour, was in a closest-to-the-pin contest against a Wounded Warrior at media day for his Quicken Loans National World Challenge at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Md.
And Woods hit three straight shots from a 102 yards with a wedge into the water. Really.
“Boy that was stiff,” said Woods, who hit the shots without a warmup.
