Crossings at Carlsbad celebrates 10 years

The Crossings at Carlsbad, owned by the City of Carlsbad, is celebrating 10 years of operation throughout the August, with a big day of festivities planned throughout the property on Friday, Aug. 18.

The Crossings will be conducting pro shop specials, food and beverage specials and much more.

“We are excited to reach the 10-year mark with the City of Carlsbad,” General Manager Tate Stull said. “It’s been a tremendous partnership between the City of Carlsbad and KemperSports.

“We look forward to continuing to provide a championship golf experience, excellent events and a place for our residents to call their home away from home.”

The Crossings invites the public to the property on Friday for an all-day celebration featuring live music from local artists, fun games and activities, food and beverage specials, golf specials and a special 10-year anniversary gift for all golfers.

In addition, The Crossings will continue its regular popular events, including Tuesday Burger Night, Wednesday Rib Night, Hits and Giggles Golf League and the Friday Unwind Happy Hour.

The Crossings at Carlsbad features an 18-hole, Greg Nash-designed golf course that opened in August 2007. The championship layout, which was ranked among Golf Magazine’s “Top 10 New Courses You Can Play,” winds through coastal terrain highlighted by views of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding shoreline.

A 28,000-square-foot clubhouse features a fully-stocked golf shop, the Canyons restaurant with accompanying banquet facilities, a spacious dining room equipped with a full-service kitchen and an outdoor deck with ocean views.

The Crossings at Carlsbad also features a large, fully-lighted practice facility, in addition to public trails linked to the city’s extensive Trail System.
