Callaway Announces New Mack Daddy PM-Grind Matte Black Wedges

New Wedges feature all the Grind and Groove Technology from the PM-Grind with a new Matte Black finish that has been extremely popular on Tour

January 25, 2016 – Callaway Golf, an industry leader in hard goods and innovative technologies, today officially announced its new Mack Daddy PM-Grind Matte Black Wedges. Phil Mickelson gave his direct input to Callaway wedge maker Roger Cleveland in the development of the Callaway Mack Daddy-PM Grind Wedge. They worked on every detail to precisely craft a wedge with the look and performance Phil wanted, particularly to take on the toughest shots around the green. Wedges with the new finish will be available at retail nationwide on January 29, 2016.

The new Matte Black finish was developed based on overwhelmingly positive feedback from Tour players.

The wedge line features all of the grind and groove technologies from the Mack Daddy-PM Grind. The new Matte Black wedge has a unique shape so you can be aggressive in your short game, with more surface area, 39% more groove area that goes all the way across the face, and a high toe that moves the weight higher. And it has the versatility that lets you accelerate through the ball and go after every shot – even when you’re playing a flop, out of a bunker, or from deep rough.
